Policy -- Submission of information/Arrangements and fees

  • This request form has a strict one month deadline.
    After online submission of information, your needs will be assessed and someone assigned to assist you with your technical needs. You will be contacted to set up a production meeting to discuss the technical needs with you no matter what level of support you need. Meetings will be held on Fridays between 10:00 and 1:00 in Paul Barsom's office, 214B Music Building I. Feel free to contact him with any specific questions you may have beforehand.
  • Basic Setup in Esber Hall -- Lecture/Voice amplification
    If your recital only requires a basic setup, the stagehand should be able to assist you with no fee. In any case, your professor should become familiar with doing the basic setup if the stagehand needs direction.
  • Above Basic Setup
    If your event needs more than the basic setup, specify what your needs are on the online form as specifically as possible. You will be discussing these technical needs at a production meeting for your event.
  • Fee
    There will be a fee for anything above a basic setup. The fee amount depends upon the technical equipment needed and the amount of time that is needed by the sound technician to cover your event including setup and take down for rehearsals and performances. The fee and who it will be payable to will be discussed with you at the meeting. If you don't comply with paying the fee, then your department will be assessed.
