The Natural Horn Program

The Natural Horn Program at the School of Music is funded by a private grant for the 2003-05 school years. Currently six students participate in the program, and are selected by audition from the horn studio. Each student receives a scholarship, a natural horn, a weekly private lesson and participates in Natural Horn Ensemble. The program's instructor is Dr. John Gerber, who holds degrees in horn from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and has performed in Africa, Europe and the U.S.
